An Update

As on 7/12/2012 I have 13 completed sets (26 items total), 5 unmatched hats hats, and 9 unmatched scarves.

An Explanation

Hello friends and family.

      I am trying to knit 50 hats and 50 scarves with the help of friends and family as my WoHeLo Project. I have been involved in Camp Fire USA for 11 years and the WoHeLo Project is the culmination of that time and work. Camp Fire runs a camp at its lodge every year called Camp Summersault. Camp Summersault is a day camp full of outdoor activities like cooking over a fire, archery, rock climbing, and crafts. However, those that attend the camp either have cancer or our siblings of those with cancer.
     Every December, the American Cancer Society has a benefit dinner to support Summersault and invites the attendees and their family. The camp attendees always receive a present from American Cancer Society and I (with help) am making that present. The present will be a matching knitted hat and scarf set.


I have until August 20th to complete the project.
